Interesting design, runs fast but also very hot to the touch.
Bought 5. One failed within a few days with read errors and I was not able to reformat. On it's way back to Sandisk under warranty. Sandisk return process is a bit cumbersome but seems to work. Sleek design is interesting, but actually the slick metal housing and lack of any real grip area makes removal difficult at times. Adding a lanyard helps ( although not supplied with drive ). Definitely runs very hot during use. The metal housing makes it even worse. Heat = extra power consumption so I'm not sure if this will significantly impact battery life in portables. Housing shows signs of insertion/removal scratches with just a few days use. Runs fast and happy with performance. Time will tell if the heat impacts life any way.Bought 5.
